Christopher Brown

Christopher Brown began his career in film & tv. Following graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, he joined legendary Q93 DJ Wild Wayne in the startup venture Wild Wayne Media while working on indie feature films such as “Flakes”, leading him to a stint in New York, working with Director Dito Montiel on “Son of No One” and producing the award winning short films: “The Price of Flowers” starring Lance Nichols, and “Terrebonnne”, screening at such film festivals as Vancouver, Atlanta, […]

Christopher Brown began his career in film & tv. Following graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, he joined legendary Q93 DJ Wild Wayne in the startup venture Wild Wayne Media while working on indie feature films such as “Flakes”, leading him to a stint in New York, working with Director Dito Montiel on “Son of No One” and producing the award winning short films: “The Price of Flowers” starring Lance Nichols, and “Terrebonnne”, screening at such film festivals as Vancouver, Atlanta, Raindance, and New Orleans; and also winning the Louisiana Film Foundation Grant and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grant.  Returning to New Orleans, Christopher joined St. Bernard Parish Government’s upstart Film & TV office by day, while earning a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans by night. Based in Los Angeles for 8+ years, he joined the agent trainee program at The Agency for Performing Arts (APA), starting from the mailroom, gaining experience in music and television literary representation and furthering it at The Gotham Group in literary management. His peers elected him JHRTS (Junior Hollywood Radio & TV Society) president before joining Paramount TV Studios Business Affairs (now Paramount +). Departing from Paramount and founding Pocky Way, Christopher began serving as co-principal with his wife and partner, TV Producer Ashley Charbonnet-Brown (Magnum PI; Roswell, New Mexico; The Equalizer.) Reuniting with Pete Anderson (head of West Coast Territory Music – APA), Christopher is currently serving as the General Manager of ETP Agency (www.etp.agency), a boutique music touring agency. ETP represents a growing roster of Grammy Nominees including: The Crystal Method, Thievery Corporation, Kat Dahlia, Cut Chemist (Jurassic Five); along with many other noteworthy artists such as Mark Farina, Bag Raiders, Hermitude, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Hamdi, and Jantsen.
