O’Hara is a 4-times Grammy Nominee/2-times American Music Awards Nominee and has written for such Illuminare world-wide artist as Anita Baker, Donna Summer, Patti LaBelle, Jody Watley, Nancy Wilson, and many more garnering 3-top 10 hits on the top 10 Billboard charts around the world, also 10 top ten hit records on the Billboard charts, and 20 top 100 records on the billboard charts for songwriting. He has taught music writing at UCLA for two semesters, has performed onstage his own music for 60-something years as the lead singer, keyboardist for the Funk/Rock renowned group- The Sheiks, and as The Torch Singer as a solo artist, and as John the Revelator in his own co-written gospel/rock opera- Isle of Dreams for most of his 60-something years in the industry.
